A new harbour in Nakło nad Notecią

On 26 October 2011, the opening ceremony for a new wet dock took place in the town of Nakło nad Notecią.

The new harbour  is the largest investment project in the Nakło county and is the result of cooperation between many communities, including the Local Action Group "Partnership for Krajna and Pałuki" and the Inland Navigation Schools Centre in Nakło.

The wet dock covers an area of 10,000 square metres. Sports fields and playgrounds are located near the harbour. In 2013, construction of a building is scheduled to end. The building is planned to be used, among other things, as an educational centre. The total investment will cost approx. PLN 10 million. The construction is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund under the Operational Programme for the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship for years 2007-2013.
