IWW E70 TEAM MEETING ON THE ŻUŁAWY LOOP

A meeting of the International Waterway E70 Working Team took place on 28-29 August 2017 in Krynica Morska, Poland. The meeting's attendees included: Jerzy Wcisła – Polish Senator, Krzysztof Grabowski – Deputy Marshal of the Wielkopolskie Voivodeship, Sławomir Kopyść – member of the Executive Board, Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship, Ryszard Świlski – member of the Executive Board, Pomorskie Voivodeship, Krzysztof Roman – Deputy Director, RZGW Regional Water Management Authority, Gdańsk, Marian Kidaj – Director, Office of Inland Navigation, Gdańsk, Zbigniew Ptak – head of Nowy Dwór County, representatives from the Ministry of Maritime Economy and Inland Navigation, Maritime University of Szczecin, Ministry for the Territorial Development, Kaliningrad Oblast, Russian Federation, and the partner voivodeships (provinces) in Poland.

PROSPECTS FOR INVIGORATING THE RUSSIAN-POLISH-LITHUANIAN SECTION OF INTERNATIONAL WATERWAY E70

On Saturday, 5 August 2017, a conference was held in the town of Sokolniki, district of Gvardeysk (Russia), at Langendorf Castle; it was entitled International Waterway E70: Problems, Prospects and Opportunities. The forum was attended by the representatives of the Kaliningrad Oblast, Russian Federation (RF), federal agencies, guests from neighbouring countries, sailors and tour operators.
