The three-day fair was accompanied by a number of attractions, including: the offer of interesting tourist destinations in Poland and abroad, food tasting, presentations of national costumes, martial arts, traditional dances, and an opportunity to participate in a travellers’ festival, lectures and meetings with travellers such as Martyna Wojciechowska, Aleksander Doba, Beata Pawlikowska and many others.
The fair was accompanied by discussion panels: “The law on tourist events and related tourist services – experiences after the first full season” and “The creation of tourist regions in Poland: a necessary step for development or utopia?”. The panel was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Sport and Tourism, tourism marketing experts, managers of brands participating in the “Polish Tourist Brands” project, and representatives of other tourism-related entities. The panels provided an opportunity to share experiences between representatives of various groups and to talk about challenges faced by the industry and plans for the future.
All visitors to the Fair could take advantage of the offer presented at the International Waterway E70 booth. Questions were asked about current navigation conditions on the Polish section of IWW E70, as well as about offers of houseboat charters, ports and marinas. A topic that aroused great interest was the possibility of navigating along the waterway through Bydgoszcz, in the context of the completed work on the Okole Lock.
