For over ten years now, in July on the Vistula Lagoon, the Regatta for the Cup of the Marshals of Pomorskie and Warmińsko-Mazurskie Voivodeships has been held. In the year 2022, 15 crews took part.
The regatta is organised by regional governments of the Pomorskie and Warmińsko-Mazurskie Voivodeships and the Municipality of Tolkmicko.
Four participating groups were formed: KWR1, KWR2, KWR3 and the Open group. Altogether 15 crews took part in the races. The starting point and finish line were in the port at Tolkmicko. The two first groups competed for the Marshal’s Cup of Pomorskie Voivodeship, while the third and the Open group competed for the Marshal’s Cup of Warmińsko-Mazurskie.
In the KWR1 group, the first place was taken by the yacht “2EASY2” with helmsman Tomasz Makowski, the second place was taken by “Litwinka” with Marian Drabiński and the third by “Flying Banana” with Piotr Lesz. Victory in the KWR2 group was celebrated by the crew of “Błękitna Bryza” commanded by Sławomir Kwiatkowski. The second place was taken by the yacht “Another Go” with helmsman Marek Florianowicz, and in the third place arrived the vessel “Solcum” with Jerzy Lampe.
