On 10 – 11 May 2025 in Szczecin, the 34th Festival of Travel and Leisure Time “Picnic on the Oder” was held. In its framework, the International Tourism Fair MARKET TOUR was organized. International Waterway E70 had its stall in the fair section.
Our team prepared the stand of International Waterway E70. At the stall, materials were presented – publications in paper form on IWW E70, including:
• A guide for watersports enthusiasts in three language versions (Polish, German and English),
• A map for watersports enthusiasts in three language versions (Polish, German and English),
• Folders on tourist attractions of the IWW E70 and on transport down the IWW E70 in three language versions (Polish, German and English),
• A folder with a film on the IWW E70 and list of harbours in two language versions (Polish and German)
The stall was manned by members of the IWW E70 team from the Lubuskie and Warmińsko-Mazurskie Voivodships.
The stand stirred great interest among visitors, particularly water sports enthusiasts, who gladly accepted materials. Apart from interested Polish tourists, the stand was also visited by numerous guests from Germany.
The Picnic on the Oder has enjoyed strong interest for years, among both visitors and exhibitors. The whole event attracts nearly 250 exhibitors from Poland and abroad, among whom over 100 exhibitors take part in the prestigious MARKET TOUR tourism fair. Visitors to the Picnic on the Oder, numbering around 70 thousand, were greeted this year by beautiful, spring weather. In the case of an outdoor event, this is of great importance.
