Navigation on inland waterways is regulated by many laws, dispersed in acts relating to various spheres of the functioning of the Polish State. These regulations are related, for example, to safety, environmental protection, admitting units to operation, and the division of responsibilities between individual ministries. In this section, we have included those regulations, that indicate the conditions, which international waterways must meet – the basic standards that must be met by inland navigation, as well as the basic regulations governing water tourism.
