With the purpose of summing up activities planned for 2025, members of the working group for revitalisation and promotion of the Polish section of International Waterway E70 came to Grudziądz.
There a meeting took place at which the results and effectiveness of undertaken tasks were discussed. At the same time, initial goals for the next year were outlined, also in the perspective of cooperation in the years 2026-2028. Apart from partnering voivodships, representatives of the Ministry of Infrastructure responsible for inland waterways participated in the meeting. This allowed one to discuss the changes in waterway classification introduced this year, as well as problems connected to the insufficient activities facilitating transport on the waterway linking the Oder with the Vistula and Vistula Lagoon.
The visit to Grudziądz was also used to conduct a local inspection of the Vistula Boulevards and Grudziądz Marina. In the Museum of Vistula Trade, we listened to a lecture dedicated to the Vistula as a trade route in the past and its current circumstances.
Finally, we visited Chrystkowo, where in the Didactic – Museum Centre of the Landscape Parks on the Lower Vistula, we and the hosts discussed the influence and development plans of the waterway IWW E70 related to preservation of the natural and cultural heritage of the Lower Vistula Valley.

Wizytę w Grudziądzu wykorzystano również do przeprowadzenia wizji lokalnej Bulwarów Nadwiślańskich i Mariny Grudziądz. Odwiedziliśmy również Muzeum Handlu Wiślanego. Wysłuchaliśmy tam prelekcji poświęconej Wiśle jako drodze handlowej jaką była w przeszłości oraz jej współczesnym uwarunkowaniom.
Na koniec odwiedziliśmy Chrystkowo, gdzie znajduję się Ośrodku Dydaktyczno – Muzealnym Zespołu Parków Krajobrazowym Nad Dolną Wisłą. Z gospodarzami obiektu przedyskutowaliśmy wpływ i plany rozwoju szlaku wodnego MDW E70 na zachowanie dziedzictwa przyrodniczego i kulturowego Doliny Dolnej Wisły.
